CHRISTMAS SOCIAL this Thursday December 16 at PK’s Grill & Pub, 155 Airport Drive Raeford 7pm and we are having finger foods, Chicken Wings, Strips and Veggie Tray, Tea and Water! (Donations Accepted to help off-set cost) Bar Drinks on your own. This is a time to come together, meet some folks and just have a joyous time! We have worked hard in 2020 and 2021 and believe it or not, 2022 is right around the corner (LITERALLY)!
We encourage you to get involved in the process, become of aware of the issues facing us locally, statewide, and nationally! There are some offices that still do not have people signed up to run (even though judges suspended registration and moved Primary till May) you can still start your campaign for just about any office in the county, state. We also have positions within the party that need filling as well as Board of Elections. GET INVOLVED and as we like to say AWAKEN! not woke.
TONIGHT: December 14, some folks are going to the School Board to speak during Public Comments about the school system mandating MASKS again. ROAD CLEANUP SUCCESSFUL: In 2021, Hoke GOP Adopted a stretch of Hwy 401 down by Parker United Methodist Church (look for the signs) and last Saturday several people helped clean up our section of highway. Mike Buzun, Chris Holland, Mike Stewart, Dave Ezell, and Judy Loes collected seven 33-gallon trash bags full of litter and we also collected numerous large debris items. The groups finished up with a tailgate BBQ Sandwich party provided by Chris and Kim Holland. THANK YOU ALL for your help while some of us were out of town! We will schedule a QUARTERLY cleanup of that section of highway in 2022 and could use your support!!
