STAND for something or fall for anything!

When extremist show up on the right, Republicans denounce, disassociate and disavow and move on. When extremist show up on the left, Democrats embrace them. Moving on, how can a county of approximately 54,000 people only have one ideology on how to do business and how can that one ideology always be right? Well it can’t! We need diverse ideas and experiences from people who truly reflect a growing population.

Out of those 54,000 people only approximately 32,000 people are registered to vote. Here are the percent turnouts in Hoke for the last 2 Mid-Term Elections;

2010 Mid-Term Election 17.7% only 4,589 voted.

2014 Mid-Term Election 14.8% only 4,460 voted

THAT’s ONLY 4,460 people out of 54,000 !!!!

Now, what happens when there is LOW VOTER turnout? That leaves room for small groups of people to control the outcome and continue electing the same old, same old folks year after year.

Since 1911, there has never been a Republican elected for Hoke County Commissioner! That’s 107 years of only one way of thinking. We need to change that in 2018 for the Best Interest of the TOTAL POPULATION! 54,000 +
