HOKE COUNTY: As most of you know a Moore County Judge highlighted the MAJOR problems with the Hoke County Courthouse. How has our local 100% only Democrat leaders in Hoke allowed a great historic public building get so bad ? They are real good at splash pads, swimming pools, naming buildings after people but maintain a decent courthouse, not so much. We still have the Noise Ordinance stuff with Chicken Man out there and how are commissioners going to handle that one? There is a Public Hearing Monday Night Sep 3 at the Hoke County Board of Commissioners meeting so if you wanted to speak up, you must sign in before the meeting. Also on the agenda is a new subdivision by Ron Huff at in Calloway area and SE Construction of Rockfish looking to build 30 lot subdivision. Finance Budget amendment on the agenda and Budget Transfer from the Sheriff Department as well as other info. Oh yeah $4 million was sent to wrong group home in Hoke (whoops), Ethanol plant cost investors $84 million, Felons Voting, Two other charged in Voter Fraud. WE MUST make sure we have fair elections!!!
NORTH CAROLINA Republicans are saying that Governor Cooper is telling the public one thing and in private meetings with legislators another and giving an ultimatum on Medicaid Expansion. He is holding the budget hostage over Medicaid Expansion. NC Republicans are going to start passing individual pieces of legislations like Rape Kit testing, Prison Safety, Disaster relief money and School Safety as soon as they get back after the Labor Day break.
