ADOPT A HIGHWAY PROGAM

Saturday March 19, we had about 9 people come out and help cleanup our Adopted Section of Hwy 401. We picked up 10 bags of trash for NC DOT to come by and dispose of. This was our third roadside cleanup, and we must do one every quarter. Since June of last year, we have put in 46-man/woman hours and collected over 37 bags of trash. We will announce soon when the next cleanup day will be. We just want to show our community that we put words into action and care about our community. COME JOIN US!

NEXT UP FOR HOKE GOP

We are working with Abigail Blue form the RNC Community Center in Robeson County to conduct Campaign Sidekick Training for any Hoke GOP Member or Candidate who wants to help with Election Integrity and Voter Outreach. Campaign Sidekick is a program that helps identify likely voter homes so that we can stop by and give them a sample ballot, voter info, a phone call or mailer. PLEASE this is how we beat the left at their own game, and we need people to help with this! There will be TRAINING for these programs THURSDAY MARCH 23 in Scotland County (and soon we will have one in Hoke County) but to get started ASAP, we would like for folks to ride over to Scotland County and get training ASAP. The training will be at 6:30 pm at Scotland County GOP Headquarters, 684 South 14/501 Bypass, Laurinburg NC 28353. Jeremiah Goodpaster is out new Outreach and Digital Media Coordinator and you can email him for more info Jeremiah.goodpaster@gmail.com.

MAY 17 PRIMARY

The Primary Ballot is SET! We are working on a Hoke GOP Sample Ballot for everyone to see! We want to clarify one situation in one race. The County Commissioner Race you will see 5 Primary Candidates for 3 spots on the Republican Ballot. AS ALWAYS, Hoke GOP DOES NOT endorse candidates in the primary races however, one person who will be ON THE BALLOT is not running. Isaac Holder is a Republican Active-Duty soldier and at the time he registered in December, he was unaware of the rule that Active-Duty personnel are not allowed to actively run for partisan offices. He tried to get his named removed form the ballot but missed the deadline. So basically, there are 4 Republicans running in a Primary race for 3 spots on the commission board and will face off against 3 Democrats in November and they are, Johnny Boyles, Stephanie Carter, David Frump and Chris Holland. We hope citizens of Hoke County will cast their vote for the best three they feel will best represent the Republican Party in the November General Election. We also want you to know that NOT EVERY RACE will be on the Primary Ballot. Some races do not have a Primary and therefore, those races will move to the General Ballot. Our Sample Ballot we create, and share will clearly identify all the races in the Primary and General Election. We will have that out soon.
