Hoke GOP Blast Nov 27 (Scroll All Way Down)

GRITTITUDE! You know, sometimes the politics or human reactions to the issues of the day get us down and we tend to focus on what’s going WRONG than what is going RIGHT. There IS a whole lot of RIGHT going on, but we also cannot ignore the wrong. This Thanksgiving Day/Weekend we want to focus on some of the GOOD and the RIGHT! This past Thursday/Friday, members of the Hoke County GOP helped the Hoke County Open Door Soup Kitchen prepare and deliver 400 meals in our community. Friday, several of our folks helped give away 150 Turkeys, 40 Cases of Green beans, 40 Cases of Corn and 80 Pumpkin Pies. Back on Veterans Day weekend we hosted NC Lt Governor Mark Robinson at the Raeford Airport and provided meals for some of our veterans and recognized 3 of our oldest veterans in the community. In October Hoke GOP Sponsored our Annual First Responders Event at Hwy 55 Burger Shakes and Fries where we fed 48 families as a show of appreciation. Also, in October we supported local candidates for the Lumbee River Electric Membership Board of Director and helped elect 3 of the four on our local ticket. Hoke GOP sponsored a booth at the Raeford-Hoke NC Fall Festival downtown Raeford where we gave a way a Flat Screen TV and registered many voters and collected email and Social Media info on over 100 people. This fall we had folks in our group supporting the Backpack Buddies Program for School Kids and Back to School supplies for kids and teachers! We don’t do these things to brag or boast, we do these things to help our community and support the people in the community. In 2022, WE WILL DO MORE so come on board with us and be part of something bigger than YOURSELF!

DECEMBER 3, Hoke GOP will have a booth at the Raeford-Hoke Chamber of Commerce Hometown Christmas Fest on Main Street from 5:30pm till 8pm. We will be giving away some FREE STUFF and spreading the Christmas Spirit so stop by and say HELLO!

DECEMBER 11, we will hold our 2^nd ROADSIDE CLEANUP on our stretch of Hwy 401 that we Officially Adopted this past year! Bring your “Picker-Uppers”, Reflective Vests and help us clean up our section from Pittman Grove Church Road to Parker Church Road from 10:00am till 1 pm. (After the event we will have Hot Dogs and Drinks to say THANKS for the help!) DECEMBER 16 we will have our regularly schedule monthly meeting at PK’s Grill Raeford Airport, but this meeting will be our Christmas Social! Just come on out, have some finger foods on us, drinks own your own and enjoy the Holiday Spirit. PK’s is at 155 Airport Drive Raeford CN 28376
