The Raeford Hoke Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Hoke County Commissioner Candidate Debate on Tuesday Oct 16, 2018 at the Senior Room downtown Raeford. Candidates involved in the debate were Republican candidates David Frump and Cliff Overby and Democrat candidates Allen Thomas and Harry Southerland. Candidate Tony Hunt was absent. Ricky Sandy from the chamber moderated the debate. ONLY about 27 people showed up to watch. It was a Grand Opportunity to hear about the key issues. One of our members Hal Nunn video’d the debate and placed it on his Facebook Page under Hal Nunn on Oct 16. It’s had over 800 views, 18 comments and 17 shares.
