NC Fall Festival this coming Saturday October 16, 2021
Hoke GOP is sponsoring a vendor spot at the Fall Festival this coming Saturday downtown Raeford 9am to 4 pm. As you might know, the Fall Festival use to be the NC Turkey Festival with a rich history in Hoke County and is well attended by all. WE NEED FOLKS to help in the booth so one or two people don’t have to be there all day. If you can help, send us a message, or let someone know. We would really appreciate it. We will be giving away a Flat Screen TV, Registering People to VOTE, handing out info and just basically promoting our group.
MONTHLY MEETING will be next Thursday October 21, at PK’s Grill Raeford Airport 7pm. Please come out to learn more about Hoke Republican Party and become aware of the issues and get involved. We are seeking candidates for Hoke County School Board and other races coming up this next year.
HOKE VETERAN APPRECIATION FREEDOM BBQ w/ NC Lt Governor Mark Robinson will be Saturday November 13, 2021, from 2-5pm at Raeford Airport. (Absolutely FREE to attend however EVERYONE must register on our Eventbrite page for security purposes. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/172131739667 ) BBQ Plates Extra, VIP Section and Corporate Sponsorships Available. Come meet our great Lt. Governor, Congressman Dan Bishop and listen to LIVE MUSIC from BonesFork which started as some former Special Forces guys who would get together to JAM and now, they just released their second album, Beautiful Circle. www.bonesfork.com. We’ll have the All-Veteran Parachute Team doing a demonstration and there will be some special guests on board which will be a treat to observe. We’ll have our annual Gun Drawing tickets for sale and you could win a Winchester SPX Black Shadow 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun, Family Four Pack to the Skydive Paraclete Wind Tunnel, a Tandem Jump or $200 in cash. We will also do a 50/50 cash drawing. —–WE ARE SEEKING VOLUNTEERS for this great event and need help with things like Registration, Drink Sales, Ice Cream Sales and set up and tear down. PLEASE, if you can, help us with welcoming the NC Lt Governor back to Hoke County come out and help. He wants to speak directly to veteran’s and families of Hoke, Ft Bragg and surrounding counties. IF YOU CAN DONATE to help pay for this event, please do!! THIS EVENT IS GEARED towards our veteran’s, but anyone can attend. PK’s Grill will be open this day.
NATIONAL FIRST RESPONDERS DAY this year is October 28 and WE Hoke County GOP want to show our appreciation! ANY First Responder and their family are welcome to come by Hwy 55 Burger’s Shakes and Fries Raeford, Thursday October 28 from 11am-2pm for a FREE Cheeseburger, Fry and Drink on US!!! We can’t thank you enough for what you do but hopefully this small token of our appreciation is a start.
