ADOPT A HIGHWAY roadside cleanup! The Hoke County Republican Party has “officially” adopted a section of Highway 401 between Pittman Grove Church Road and Parker Church road. SEE PIC! In conjunction with NC Litter Cleanup Day, Saturday September 25th we will be cleaning up our section of Hwy 401 that day from 9:00 a.m. till noon. HOKE VETERAN APPRECIATION and Freedom BBQ w/ NC Lt Governor Saturday November 13, 2021, at Raeford Airport from 2-5pm. This event is FREE and open to the public however, YOU MUST REGISTER for this event at the link below. ALSO, VIP Tickets are available, and we will have a BBQ Plate Sale that day as well as the All-Veteran Parachute Team will be doing a demonstration with a Special Guest as a Tandem Skydiver. We will also have a 50/50 Drawing and this day is the final day to purchase our Gun Drawing Tickets for a First-Place prize of a Winchester SPX Black Shadow 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun, Second Place is a choice of Tandem Skydive or Family 4-Pack in the Wind Tunnel, Third Place is $200 CASH. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. Only 250 tickets were printed.

CHARTER SCHOOL: We had a group of people go over to The Academy of Moore County and talk with them about starting a Charter School in Hoke County. We met with several people who have tons of experience in this effort and spoke with the lady from the NC Charter School Association. IT CAN BE DONE and is so needed in Hoke County. We can talk about that more during our monthly meeting however, if you are interested in being a part of this new endeavor, please let us know.
MEDIA OUTLET: We have had a small set back in starting our own media source for Hoke County however, we have been blessed with another opportunity and need people who are tech savvy, have an interest in media reporting, broadcasting, and communications to jump on board. Please let us know if this is something you are interested in.
LOCAL, LOCAL, LOCAL: as they say, ALL POLITICS is local, and we need our folks to stay aware of the issues and engaged in the process here locally with the School Board, County Government, Law Enforcement and other crucial functions that affect us more each day than anything going on in Raleigh and Washington. YES, it’s important to stay aware of those issues but LOCAL, LOCAL, LOCAL will help us more than anything. WE WOULD LIKE to hear from you on what issues you face here locally.
